Alligator bites boy at amusement park

Posted on July 19th, 2011 No Comments

An 11-year-old boy was injured after he was bitten by an alligator while at an amusement park in Indiana.

The child was invited by man to pet the 2-foot long alligator when it bit the child. The child received injuries to his fingers, but they are not considered life threatening.

Officials are currently looking for the man that lifted the alligator out of the enclosed area by a noose and told children that they could pet it. The boy’s mother claimed that she and others thought that the man worked there. The man fled the scene after the child was bit.
