Former boxer, Micky Ward, hospitalized after dog bite

Posted on June 20th, 2011 No Comments

Former boxer, Micky Ward, was hospitalized after he was bitten by a dog while trying to separate it from another dog.

The dog bit the man’s right finger and officials said that it was pretty bad. The man was walking his dog down the street when another dog approached and the dogs got rough together.

Ward then put his hand between the two dogs in order to prevent them from biting each other. This is when the dog bit the his right ring finger. The Massachusetts boxer had an Academy Award winning movie based on his life, called The Fighter.
