A public safety officer responding to an altercation between a couple was reportedly attacked by a dog, an article on mlive.com stated on April 1.

According to reports, the incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on March 31 in Bay City when Michigan State Police responded to a 911 call. Police and Bay City public safety officers forcibly extracted Amanda Commire and Sam King from their house at 1105 Kosciuszko Avenue where one public safety officer was attacked by a dog. The dog was tasered after biting the leg of the officer.
