Pontiac woman attacked by 2 German Shepherds

A Pontiac woman sustained several dog bite injuries on Thursday, February 6 when two German Shepherds attacked her.

According to reports, the incident happened at 2 a.m. near University Drive and Seneca Street. An unidentified 56-year-old woman was walking when the dogs attacked her. She suffered from puncture wounds to her lower torso and thighs.

A passing driver stopped and rescued the woman from the dogs before calling police. Oakland County Animal Control manager, Bob Gatt said the owner of the German Shepherds had already received serious citations over the dogs’ volatile behavior.
