Saginaw city worker injured after a 3-dog attack

Posted on April 11th, 2013 No Comments

Three dogs attacked and injured a Saginaw city water department employee while the worker was working on Oakwood the morning of April 2.

Saginaw Police Officers, Saginaw County Animal Control officers, and MMR responded to a dog attack involving three dogs that injured a city worker at a house on 2004 Oakwood. The three dogs, two pit bulls and a boxer mix, were taken to the County Animal Control Center. Currently, Animal Control Director Kevin Wilken said they are working to determine which dog or dogs actually bit the worker.

A “dangerous policy” was proposed earlier by Wilken after a toddler was savagely attacked recently by a pit bull in Buena Vista Township and is being considered for adoption by the county.

Unfortunately, many dog owners fail to properly secure and restrain their dogs, leading to the undue harm of innocent people, such as this worker. When this has happened to you or a loved one, discuss your legal options for pursuing compensation with a lawyer from Ravid & Associates, P.C. Call 877-PET-BITE to understand your rights.
