Posted on August 23rd, 2011 No Comments

A 9-year-old boy from Wisconsin was injured after he was bitten by a pit bull.

Officials have said that the attack on the child seemed unprovoked and that the boy was at a friend’s house when it occurred. The child was playing in the front yard when the owner of the home went inside to get the child a glass of juice.

While walking back out, the dog rushed past the owner and attacked the young boy. The child was bit on the face and on the arm, neighbors have said that the boy is lucky to be alive. The dog’s owner gave him to Animal Control and they decided that the dog was too dangerous to return to the home and that he will be euthanized.
